Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop

KaDoodle Bug Designs is a super sponsor.
KaDoodle Bug Designs

Hello all. I thought that this one is so sweet for a teacher, baby sitter or just a coffee lover.

After getting all the pieces cut out I decided that I wanted to make it into a card that has a "hidden" pocket. So I cut out just the cup part and started to fold it in different ways to hold a gift card.

I embossed the none slip gripper, colored some pieces with the gel glitter pens to had some shimmer.

I also added an other "shadow" piece to the back to right a message.

Thanks for stopping in.
Here is the start of all the fun:

School's out for summer!

Hello all thanks for stopping in.

With summer upon us I was thinking about when I went to school specially since I was usually on a bus to and from school.
Now with my son riding the bus I thought of this cute file to give back to people being a bus driver.

I used foam dots on some of the pieces to make the pop out more. I also used acetate on the window of the bus.

Thanks for stopping in.

Teacher Appreciation Week

Hello all DT Amber here to show you this awesome file for Teacher Appreciation Week.

I used the School Day Bookworms file.

I only used the one file but there is so much potential use of the other files included with this.

When using this file I made flipped images of the "shadow" piece so I could use my Cricut Explore Air 2 to write the message on the back.

The apple part I duplicated and added the names of each teacher to them as well to be wrote with my cricut.

I then just used a hole punch to have a way to attach these to each vase.

Here is a look at the whole project I did.

To make the flower pens I got some dollar store flowers and cut them off the branch with my wire cutters.

I then pulled out the bottom of the pen. You will need to make sure you get the pens that are NOT clickers.

I then tested the cut flower to see if I needed to cut anymore wire off from the stem so the flower head would be flush with the end of the pen.

I then got out my floral tape and started at the tip of the pen and wrapped the floral tape at a slight angle up and around the pen. I continued to wrap it all the way to the head of the flower and a few time around the top to make sure it was covered well.

I filled the vases with "river rocks" I got from the dollar store as well.

I then used my tape runner around the top of the vases so it would hold the ribbon in place.

After getting the ribbon on I did hot glue the one end down and made the bow and hot glued it to the spot I just done to keep the ribbon end on.

I then placed the cap back on the pen and put it and the butterfly into the vase.

I then attached the tags I made for each teacher with some twine.

Hope you enjoy this project!

I did a solid white cardstock with patterned paper adhered on top. Then I added some cute polkda dotted vellum and put the purple glittered edge on. Added my CK Chick file on some foam dots along with the special delivery.

Happy Spring

Happy Spring!

Good evening all, DT Amber here. I hope you all are doing well doing this start to spring here in the states. I got to play with some awesome new digital stamps. I love to color as it helps to calm my mind. So I made these three fairies card for a dear friend.
I used three files to make this card. The first one I colored was DS Spring Mushroom Fairy.

Next was DS Spring Flower Fairy.
Last but not least was DS Spring Wand Fairy

I colored them all with colored pencils first then I used some glitter gel pens that matched the same color.

Thanks for stopping in and checking it out.

Enchanting

Good afternoon!
So glad you stopped by. My oh my this movie was enchanting! I'm so glad that I went.
In the days leading up too and a few after the movie I made a 12x12 scrapbook layout.

So Enchanting don't you think?

I used three files to make this layout.
First up is the Beast
Next was Belle
Then I did the Lumière and Cogsworth. However this one has more than just these two with it.
I used some glitter and plain cardstock from Anna Griffin as well as some from a Disney Pad I had.

Thank you for stopping in to see it!

Hello all. Today I'm going to share with you this cute file with plenty of fluffy cuteness overload.

I used the CK Bunnies file found here http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=55&products_id=1100 to make some treat bags for my son's class. Since not everyone celebrates Easter I did just a spring theme. Not only did I use one of the bunnies as a print then cut I also used the carrot in the accessories folder. I found just a oval tag in design space and embossed it. I used the debossed side to allow for the images to flow better. The carrot I added their names and adhered them flat to the oval. The bunnies I used foam pop up squares under them. Tied some twine at the top and around the goody bags. I used all blue since all the kids in his class are boys but this would be cute in any spring colors.

Happy crafting and thanks for checking in.

Good Morning all. DT Amber here to show you this cutie I made from The KaDoodle Bug Designs file Clover and Unicorns.
When I first started making this I didn't know what I was really going to do with it but I was compelled to make it. After having it finished and setting on my desk I was going through my FB feed I came across someone who posted a video about faith. After watching this video I came across an other video of an other crafty lady about a girl getting bullied at school. She turned a bag that had previously had a glitter horse on it and make it into a unicorn and added the phrase "In a world full of horses be a unicorn". So I reached out to her letting her know of this beauty I created and at the time didn't have a purpose until just then. I then laminated it and added some magnets to the back so the girl could then put in on her locker to remind her there are good people out there.

So want to make this beauty for your self or make it a gift for others you can get the file and the other goodies that comes with it here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60&products_id=1679

Have a good day and Be Good To Everybody!

I'm a new Design Team Member for KaDoodle Bug Designs. I love her work and have invested in many of her files for my crafting. When they did a Design Team call I was nervous and wasn't going to apply. After a few days of fighting myself over it I decided to just go for it. What did I have to loose? So I submitted my projects and got the "call" yesterday that I had made the team! I was so excited and my head spun with ideas. I'm new to this whole blogging thing so please bear with me while I figure it all out.

I have a "special needs" toddler that keeps me busy as well. I also like to game but mostly Blizzard games such as WoW (World of Warcraft), Diablo 3, Heroes of the Storm. I can't really do first person shooter games as they make me sick to play. I also like planning although I'm not good at it. How are you not good at planning you ask? Well it sits in it's bag a lot. I hope to get into it more specially with taking on being a design team member and keeping up with my toddlers school and things.

You might find rainbows in lots of things I do or even just lots of colors. The reason being that I'm a rainbow mama. What is that you ask? A child born after a loss is considered a rainbow. Our first child we suffered a miscarriage. After years of thinking we would never ever have a child. Feeling particularly weird one day I took a test and it was positive. For the first time I was pregnant!! Oh my stars we were so excited! However that was quickly dashed by the fact I started cramping and spotting. Went to the ER and found out the baby didn't have a heartbeat. We had to wait to be seen by an OB a few weeks later it was confirmed that we lost the baby as "she" (I have always felt it was a girl) didn't make it past 6 weeks but I was by that time 9 weeks along. We had to say goodbye before we even got to say hello. After that we found strength in some baby loss groups on Facebook. After the wait of three months we okayed to try again. Which we did and three months of trying we were pregnant again. Our son was born at 38 weeks by c-section. He is now a rambunctious 3 year old!
