April is autism awareness month

Good afternoon all.

I made this for a dear friend whom has a son with autism. I couldn't help but make this big enough to fit into an 8x10 frame.

Hope you enjoy this cutie!

Enchanting

Good afternoon!
So glad you stopped by. My oh my this movie was enchanting! I'm so glad that I went.
In the days leading up too and a few after the movie I made a 12x12 scrapbook layout.

So Enchanting don't you think?

I used three files to make this layout.
First up is the Beast
Next was Belle
Then I did the Lumière and Cogsworth. However this one has more than just these two with it.
I used some glitter and plain cardstock from Anna Griffin as well as some from a Disney Pad I had.

Thank you for stopping in to see it!

Hello all. Today I'm going to share with you this cute file with plenty of fluffy cuteness overload.

I used the CK Bunnies file found here http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=55&products_id=1100 to make some treat bags for my son's class. Since not everyone celebrates Easter I did just a spring theme. Not only did I use one of the bunnies as a print then cut I also used the carrot in the accessories folder. I found just a oval tag in design space and embossed it. I used the debossed side to allow for the images to flow better. The carrot I added their names and adhered them flat to the oval. The bunnies I used foam pop up squares under them. Tied some twine at the top and around the goody bags. I used all blue since all the kids in his class are boys but this would be cute in any spring colors.

Happy crafting and thanks for checking in.

Good Morning all. DT Amber here to show you this cutie I made from The KaDoodle Bug Designs file Clover and Unicorns.
When I first started making this I didn't know what I was really going to do with it but I was compelled to make it. After having it finished and setting on my desk I was going through my FB feed I came across someone who posted a video about faith. After watching this video I came across an other video of an other crafty lady about a girl getting bullied at school. She turned a bag that had previously had a glitter horse on it and make it into a unicorn and added the phrase "In a world full of horses be a unicorn". So I reached out to her letting her know of this beauty I created and at the time didn't have a purpose until just then. I then laminated it and added some magnets to the back so the girl could then put in on her locker to remind her there are good people out there.

So want to make this beauty for your self or make it a gift for others you can get the file and the other goodies that comes with it here: http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60&products_id=1679

Have a good day and Be Good To Everybody!

I'm a new Design Team Member for KaDoodle Bug Designs. I love her work and have invested in many of her files for my crafting. When they did a Design Team call I was nervous and wasn't going to apply. After a few days of fighting myself over it I decided to just go for it. What did I have to loose? So I submitted my projects and got the "call" yesterday that I had made the team! I was so excited and my head spun with ideas. I'm new to this whole blogging thing so please bear with me while I figure it all out.

I have a "special needs" toddler that keeps me busy as well. I also like to game but mostly Blizzard games such as WoW (World of Warcraft), Diablo 3, Heroes of the Storm. I can't really do first person shooter games as they make me sick to play. I also like planning although I'm not good at it. How are you not good at planning you ask? Well it sits in it's bag a lot. I hope to get into it more specially with taking on being a design team member and keeping up with my toddlers school and things.

You might find rainbows in lots of things I do or even just lots of colors. The reason being that I'm a rainbow mama. What is that you ask? A child born after a loss is considered a rainbow. Our first child we suffered a miscarriage. After years of thinking we would never ever have a child. Feeling particularly weird one day I took a test and it was positive. For the first time I was pregnant!! Oh my stars we were so excited! However that was quickly dashed by the fact I started cramping and spotting. Went to the ER and found out the baby didn't have a heartbeat. We had to wait to be seen by an OB a few weeks later it was confirmed that we lost the baby as "she" (I have always felt it was a girl) didn't make it past 6 weeks but I was by that time 9 weeks along. We had to say goodbye before we even got to say hello. After that we found strength in some baby loss groups on Facebook. After the wait of three months we okayed to try again. Which we did and three months of trying we were pregnant again. Our son was born at 38 weeks by c-section. He is now a rambunctious 3 year old!
